HELLO LITTLE KITTY

I rescued this little baby cat a couple of days ago. I’ll tell you the story…
My friend Caty and I were on our way to yoga class and then we saw this baby crossing the street. We picked him up and took him with us to class. We thought our teacher was gonna be able to adopt him because she likes cats and has other 4, but no! At the end the only responsible one about it was me. I was very very confused and I didn’t know what to do, I never had a cat before! Plus, he was full of fleas and I didn’t know if he was sick…some many things went trough my mind, even take him back where I found him, but I felt a real bad person!
   
Rescate es lindo gatito hace un par de dias, les contare la historia…
Estabamos camino a clase de yoga mi amiga Caty  y yo, y vimos a este bebe cruzando por la mitad de la calle. Lo subimos al carro y lo levamos a la clase con nosotros. Pensamos que nuestra profesora lo iba a adoptar porque a ella le gustan los gatos y tiene como 4 mas, pero no! Al final la unica responsable era yo, porque fui la que lo recogi, y estaba super confundida y no sabia que hacer, nunca he tenido gato! Aparte estaba lleno de pulgas y no sabia si estaba enfermo…se me cruzaron mil cosas por la cabeza, hasta pense devolverlo donde lo encontre, pero me senti demasiado mala persona!  

I took him home with me directly to the bathroom and gave him a bath, I never thought that such a little animal that fitted into  my hand could have so many fleas… but not even one survived!   Lo lleve a mi casa directamente al baño, nunca en mi vida pense que a este animalito tan chiquito que cabia en la palma de mi mano pudiera tener tantas pulgas…pero no le quedo ni una sola!

Manú likes cats, but I think he was a bit jealous…But I explained him that the little cat was a baby and we needed to help him!  A Manú le gustan los gatos, pero creo que igual estaba un poquito celoso…Yo le explique que era un bebe y que habia que ayudarlo!

Manú got it right away. I swear, I went to my bedroom for a couple of minutes and when I came back to the living room my dog was in this position taking care of the kitty!!! It’s super cute!!! Manú entendio y decidio cuidarlo tambien. Les juro que es verdad, yo me fui a mi cuarto por un par de minutos y cuando volvi a la sala mi perro estaba en esta posicion pendiente del gatito!!! Es demasiado lindo!

He wasn’t eating on his own, so I decided to give him almond milk with a dropper… No comia por su propia voluntad, entoces decidi darle leche de almendra con un gotero…

We went to the vet, and told me that he looked like about 4 weeks old. I love my vet, he is super nice, Ted Sanchez, he is the one that always sees my doggie, and all of the girls that work with him are very sweet and special and treated us very well!!! Fuimos al veterinario, y me dijo que parecia que tenia al rededor de 4 semanas de nacido. Me encanta mi veterinario, es buenisimo, Ted Sanchez el es el que siempre a visto a mi perro. Aparte todas las chicas que trabajan con el son super dulces y nos atendieron muy bien!!!

Thanks God this story had a happy end!
He was very healthy, he only got an eye drops prescription because it seemed like he had a little eye infection, nothing to worry about!
After our visit to the vet, I took him with his new mommy , Trina the Trainer (she is my pilates trainer in Miami) when Trina saw him immediately she named him “theodoro”. Now “theodoro” has a sweet happy home with 4 brothers and sisters, 3 dogs, “chiquitico, diego miguel y coco margarita” and one cat “ceniza”, they already embraced him into the family. Congrats Trina, you are such a good soul!!!
When I published some pictures on facebook, one of my readers told me that june is the “Cat Rescue Month”, so I felt very content to be part of this movement!!!


Gracias a Dios esta historia tuvo un final feliz! 
El esta muy sano, solo le medicaron unas gotas para los ojos porque parecia que tenia una pequeña infeccion que no era grave. Despues de la visita al veterinario, lo lleve con su nueva mama, Trina the Trainer (ella es mi entrenadora de pilates en Miami)inmediatamente que lo vio lo llamo “theodoro”. Ahora “theodoro” tiene un hogar feliz con 4 hermanos mas, 3 perros, “chiquitico, diego miguel y coco margarita” y una gata “ceniza”,  ya lo aceptaron y lo abrazaron en la familia. Trina felicitaciones, eres demasiado buena!!!


Una de mis lectoras cuando publique el rescate en facebook me dijo que junio es el mes para rescatar gatos, entonces me siento muy feliz y satisfecha de poder haber hecho parte de este movimiento!
